Yes, Mosquitoes have suddenly gotten crazy. The heavy rains all summer have been oddly enough, been controlling the emergence of the pupal stage, by churning up the surface waters, causing them to drown. Now that we are seeing several days between heavy rains, they are making up for lost time.
They will be a problem in low lying areas near bodies of water and heavily wooded areas.
The rains have been ideal for the carpenter ants as well.

Brent will be speaking at the Wisconsin Pest Control Association Pest Con 2024. His talk will be titled How to Read a House where he will be training his peers on how to identify the hidden entry points where pest find their way indoors.
